Who are we?

At Doiphode Aarambh International Foundation, we are a group of compassionate individuals driven by a single purpose — to care for those who can’t speak for themselves. Based in the heart of Mumbai, our team is committed to improving the lives of street dogs through consistent feeding, medical aid, and rescue efforts. What started as a few daily feedings has now grown into a structured mission, powered by love, empathy, and unwavering dedication.

What do we do?

Every day, our volunteers hit the streets of Kurla and neighboring areas to feed hungry, neglected street dogs. Many of these animals suffer silently from injuries, malnutrition, and diseases with no one to turn to. We not only provide food but also help with vaccinations, sterilizations, emergency rescues, and medical treatments — ensuring these animals live safer, healthier lives.

Why do we need funds?

Street dog care is a continuous and resource-intensive effort. Each meal, each vet visit, each sterilization surgery — it all adds up. While we rely on the kindness of volunteers and donors, the growing number of dogs in need far exceeds our current capacity. We need your support to expand our reach and sustain our efforts without interruption.

Why is this important?

Mumbai’s streets are home to thousands of stray dogs, many of whom go days without food or shelter. Hunger, disease, and road accidents claim countless innocent lives every year.
