Street Children Food & Care Initiative

Who are we?

We are Doiphode Aarambh International Foundation, a dedicated team working at the grassroots level in Mumbai to bring dignity, nourishment, and care to street and slum children. We believe that every child deserves more than survival — they deserve joy, health, and the hope of a better tomorrow. Our initiative focuses on feeding hungry children and providing them with the warmth and kindness they are often denied.

What do we do?

Every week, we visit street corners, underpasses, and slum clusters to distribute healthy meals, snacks, and drinks to children living in vulnerable conditions. Many of these children go to bed hungry or beg on the streets to survive. Our volunteers serve them food, engage them with warmth, and try to make each interaction count. Along with food, we occasionally distribute clothes, hygiene kits, and small gifts to bring moments of happiness into their lives.

Why do we need funds?

While our work is driven by compassion, running these efforts consistently requires financial support. Each meal, snack packet, or hygiene kit comes at a cost. With more resources, we can scale our outreach — reaching more children, more frequently, with better-quality food and essentials. Your contribution makes a direct, life-affirming impact on a child in need.

Why is this important?

Thousands of children in Mumbai live without reliable access to food, safety, or basic care. Malnutrition, neglect, and hopelessness are daily realities for them. By feeding and supporting these children, we are not only filling stomachs — we are restoring a sense of dignity and reminding them that they matter. This initiative plants seeds of hope that may one day blossom into confidence, safety, and a brighter future.

How would this money be utilized?

Every rupee you contribute goes toward:

• Buying nutritious meals, snacks, milk, and juice for street children

• Purchasing hygiene kits and clothes for special drives

• Transport and logistics for distribution across multiple city zones

• Occasional gifts (toys, stationery) to bring joy to the children

• Organizing safe, child-friendly events during festivals and special days
